Play Outside By Yourself

After church yesterday, Mama and Baba were kinda tired and wanted to have a quiet Sunday afternoon rest. Micah of course wanted to play outside. We told him if you want to play outside you'll have to play by yourself. Since he generally hates playing by himself, I thought that was the end of it. Micah wandered off to the play area of the great room.

Soon we heard the doggie door flap and smiled, knowing that Libby had gone outside to take care of business. But the house was way too quiet. We got up and sure enough, Micah had exited through the doggie door and was playing by himself in the back yard. I guess I'm surprised it took him six months to try this.
