Update on Micah

We received an update from China on Micah. He is now 30.8 pounds and 33 inches tall! Can any of you experienced mommies tell me what size that is? He is potty trained during the day, but still wears a diaper at night. He sleeps with the light on, but doesn't suck his thumb. He looks so grown up. I can't wait to get him home.

We are still waiting on that golden ticket, the 797c from immigration. We are crossing our fingers that it will be completed soon so we can travel right after Chinese New Year. Our agency has a large group of families adopting waiting children who they'd like to travel together. We hope we can travel with this group, many of whom have become dear friends through the Yahoo Group. It would be awesome to meet and travel with these families.

Hey guys ...MiMi is 36" tall and almost 30 lbs so he is just about her size. I would go 3T pants (get the ones with adjustable waist) and she wears a 4/5 girls top...hope this helps...so exciting. Come on 797C!!

I agree with Susan--I'd go 3T. The pants with the adjustable strap inside the waist is great! We're hoping and praying for your 797C to come!!

Micah is ADORABLE!!

I am going to say get 24 months or 2T stuff especially for the pants. You can probably do the 3T for the shirts though. Glad you received an update and can't wait to see a smile on his face soon!

I'd go with 3T. The pants may be too long but they can always be rolled up. Sheridan is taller, but only weighs a couple of pounds more than Micah and he is wearing
3T in the top and 2T in the bottom. Buy size 4 Huggies Overnites for diapers.

Nathan is 33.5 inches and 24 pounds. 24 month clothes are baggy on him but they fit his length.

He is very, very, cute!

He does look like a big boy. When we got Sophie's referral picture she looked like she weighed 40 pounds but was only 17 lbs. They should label the pictures "babies are smaller than they appear"

Hi Karen,

Micah looks like a big boy! Wow!!! I bet he has 4 layers of clothes on to keep warm so he's probably not 30 pounds. I'm fearful that the outfit I got him may be too small. I'll include the gift receipt....
